Ever wondered if you need a, not just a mini massage gun, but a SUPER mini-massage gun?
- Are they a substitute for a full size massage gun?
HEYCHY sent me another massage gun to review. This time it is their “super-mini” massage gun and it is cute. Even the box says “Cute X1”. But, being cute does not make my muscles feel better and that is most likely true for you too. So let’s review this cute massage gun and see if it is worth it.
I’ve tested my fair share of massage guns, from large, bulky professional ones to smaller travel-friendly versions. But this is hands down the smallest massage gun I’ve tried so far. At under 5 inches tall, it isn’t a novelty item, I can see that this mini massage gun deserves its place on my self care shelf or travel bag.
If you’re looking for a massage gun to toss in your bag for work, travel, or post-workout relief, this super mini massage gun is worth checking out — especially since it’s under $50 (and FSA/HSA eligible).

Why Consider This Super Mini Massage Gun?
I will be honest — small massage guns can be hit or miss. I have tried a few. Some are weak and vibrate more than massage. But this one surprised me. No, it’s not going to replace your full-size massage gun when you’re dealing with deep knots or need serious stall force.
But it still delivers impressive power for its size — enough to help with sore neck and shoulders, tight calves, low back tension, or anywhere else that your hand can reach.
***If you want a small massage gun, with a lot of power, HEYCHY’s other mini massage gun with two heads is impressive. It is nearly as small, but it has a lot of power.
I was secretly hoping this would come with a super mini carrying case (like the last one I reviewed), but this one only comes with a carrying pouch, and charges with an included C-charging — meaning it’s ready to go and charge just about anywhere.
Quick Specs and Features
Ultra-Compact and Lightweight – Again, this is a “super mini”. Measuring under 5 inches inches and weighing just over half a pound, this is smaller than my hand. It fits in your purse, gym bag, or carry-on without a second thought.
4 Interchangeable Attachments – Includes heads for general use, precision work, and sensitive areas. It has your standard flat head, ball, fork, and bullet attachments that you get with most massage guns. One feature I like about this one is the head screw in and out easily.
5 Speed Settings – Starts gentle but packs a punch on higher speeds. I found even the lower settings offered enough power for basic muscle relief, while the higher settings were surprisingly strong.
7mm Stroke Depth with over 17 lbs of Stall Force – While the super mini is probably not going to deliver the deep tissue level pressure or power like big massage guns for those of you that like a lot of pressure, it’s enough for a satisfying massage. There were a couple places on my glutes that I was very impressed with the power (and I like A LOT of pressure). This is great for daily tension relief and your problem areas. If you do not like a lot of pressure, then this massage gun will likely be plenty for you.
Battery Life and Charging – The battery states that it lasts around 5 hours per charge.
Noise Level – You could easily use this in an office, airport, or hotel room without turning to many heads.

Final Thoughts: Should You Buy It?
If you’re looking for a compact, budget-friendly massage gun that won’t weigh down your gym bag or suitcase, this one is a solid choice.
Is it going to replace your full-size massage gun? Nope. But that’s not the point. This Cute X1 by HEYCHY is the massage gun you keep handy because it’s easy to bring anywhere and surprisingly effective. Perfect for quick recovery sessions, neck tension, or travel days.
At under $50, it’s a great gift idea too for some of those hard to buy for people – for someone who’s always on the go, travelers, hikers, athletes, or a mom or dad that sits at too many travel-ball games.
